I’m Anne, (yes, that’s Anne-with-an-e). I am a Christ-follower, a wife, a mother, a home educating mom, a speaker and a writer. I hope as you wander through my website, you will find some encouraging words and resources to support your own journey of faith, parenting, and ministry of discipleship. Much of what I share through writing and speaking comes from personal experiences following Christ over the years, parenting and educating my own large family, and mentoring other parents. You may also notice the influence of Christian educational philosopher, Charlotte Mason, through whom I have gained much of my best educational ideas.  

After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education at the University of Minnesota, I worked serving families and youth with special needs. Since marrying Steve, my husband of 37 years, we have together acquired over three decades of experience in parenting, family discipleship, and home education. 

My love for sharing questions and conversations over the scriptures with my own family of nine children fueled a desire to develop an enduring resource to support these efforts, which in turn led to the writing of my new Bible study resource, Feast Of Inquiry. 

My hope is to assist other parents, particularly those with maturing youth who are ready to discuss and apply the scriptures in more depth, to share the beauty of God with their families with greater confidence and ease.

I have spoken at retreats, workshops, and women and children’s conferences. You will also see my husband Steve regularly joining me in sharing on topics such as family discipleship and the importance of Bible memorization. 

As a certified local Master Naturalist living in rural Wisconsin, I regularly enjoy leading nature study adventures, but when not hiking, reading, or writing, I love hosting gatherings of family and friends, playing tennis, and when the weather is even mildly cooperative, eating out of doors.
